INTRODUCTION
Welcome to Mapturas! By accessing or purchasing any of our interactive digital maps, booking a personalised itinerary, or purchasing long-term itineraries, you agree to comply with the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before using our website or services.
PRODUCTS AND SERVICES
Mapturas offers:
- Interactive digital maps for personal use.
- Personalised itineraries for travel in the Baltic States, including road trips, sightseeing, and themed trips. These itineraries are customized based on your preferences and delivered in PDF format.
- Long-term itineraries that can be purchased and used at any time for travel in the Baltic States. These itineraries are pre-designed and delivered in PDF format, allowing the buyer to access and use them whenever they wish to travel.
Both personalised itineraries and long-term itineraries will be delivered to you in PDF format.
Important Note: When you purchase an itinerary (whether personalised or long-term), please be aware that We do not book any hotels or make any travel arrangements on your behalf. I provide you with suggested links to accommodations and other travel resources in the itinerary PDF. It is your responsibility to book your accommodations, transportation, and any other services independently.
PAYMENT
We accept payments via Stripe (credit card, Apple Pay) and PayPal. All payments are processed securely. Payment for long-term itineraries and personalised itineraries will be made upfront, and once purchased, the itinerary can be accessed at any time.
DELIVERY AND ACCESS
- Maps: Once payment is confirmed, you will receive an email with a link to your purchased map. Delivery of digital products is immediate.
- Itineraries: After discussing your preferences for personalised itineraries, you will receive your custom itinerary via email in PDF format, or other agreed-upon means, within the time frame discussed during booking.
- Long-Term Itineraries: Once you purchase a long-term itinerary, you will receive the itinerary PDF via email immediately after the purchase, and it will be available for you to use whenever you decide to travel.
REFUND POLICY
Since all products are digital and delivered immediately, refunds are generally not provided. However, if you encounter any issues, please contact us, and we’ll work to resolve the problem.
For personalised itinerary bookings, refunds will be handled on a case-by-case basis. If you wish to cancel or change your itinerary, please reach out promptly, and we will discuss the best solution depending on how far in advance the cancellation is made.
USAGE RIGHTS
By purchasing a map, you are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the map for personal use only. You may not:
- Resell, redistribute, or publicly share the map itself or the link to the map.
- Use the map for commercial purposes without obtaining explicit written consent from us.
Sharing Locations: You are allowed to share individual locations or pins on the map with others, but the map link itself or the map in its entirety cannot be shared publicly.
For itinerary bookings (including personalised and long-term itineraries), the itinerary PDF is for personal use only and cannot be shared, resold, or distributed in any form.
CUSTOM MAPS AND ITINERARIES
If you request a custom map or itinerary, we will work with you to create a product that suits your specific needs. Custom maps and itineraries may incur additional fees based on complexity or travel details.
PRIVACY AND DATA COLLECTION
We respect your privacy. Any personal data provided during the purchase (such as your name, email address, etc.) will only be used for processing orders, communication regarding your purchase, or coordinating itinerary details. We do not share your data with third parties without your consent.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
Mapturas is committed to providing high-quality digital maps, itineraries, and travel-related resources. However, by using our services, you acknowledge and agree that Mapturas and its owner shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products and services. This includes, but is not limited to, any loss of data, financial losses, missed bookings, or loss of anticipated profits.
It is important to understand that while we provide travel recommendations and tools to assist with your journey, we are not a travel agency and do not manage or guarantee any third-party services. Mapturas is not responsible for any disruptions or issues that may occur during your travels, including but not limited to:
- Flight delays, rescheduling, or cancellations
- Hotel over-bookings or accommodation issues
- Transportation strikes, closures, or route changes
- Changes in opening hours of attractions or seasonal closures
- Visa denials, border restrictions, or changes in entry requirements
- Personal emergencies or health issues affecting your travel plans
- Weather conditions that affect travel or access to locations
Additionally, Mapturas is not liable for cancellations made by the customer or for any costs resulting from last-minute changes in their plans. It is the traveler’s responsibility to check and confirm all bookings, transport schedules, and local regulations before and during their trip.
By using Mapturas services, you acknowledge that all travel involves some level of risk and unpredictability, and that you are solely responsible for managing your travel arrangements, safety, and compliance with local laws.
MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS AND CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and the revised terms will be effective immediately upon publication.
GOVERNING LAW
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Lithuania. Any disputes arising from the use of the services will be resolved in the appropriate courts in Lithuania.
